In 2002, a Brooklyn emcee (by way of Lagos, Nigeria) and a Yonkers producer/DJ with a love for underground hip-hop met at a showcase in East Orange, New Jersey. Over the next three years they put together a collection of never-before-released songs that would've formed their debut album. Those songs by Dé & DJ Len Storm (also known as the group ultraaSOUND) constitute THEN., of the three part project THEN. NOW. FOREVER.

All songs on Then., were written by Dé between 2000 & 2005, and, with few exceptions, were produced by DJ Len Storm between 1999 & 2005. This ultraaSOUND debut serves as a time capsule-- a snapshot of what was, a nod to what might have been and a hint of what’s to come.
